works in progress from an artist in progress; behind the curtain of my process in solitude.
all songs were written in my backyard--all worktapes are the very first recording after writing; the demos are the next step. track 2 was the demo born of track 7, after various nitpicks and edits.
this particular group of songs, all written within the last two months, happens to be particularly introspective, and rather unflattering,
as I attempt to navigate newfound adulthood through a lens of national strife & painful metamorphosis, painstakingly uncovering my role, or lack thereof, in the process.

Half of all proceeds benefit The Black Feminist Project and Haymarket Books.
