a practice of peace and panic - a moment of repose - an attempt to fan the ember of hope in amongst the rubble of a nation -
all songs were written and recorded during the month of September 2020

worktapes were recorded immediately after writing, using my iphone voice notes, demos were recorded by me with a single guitar and vocal on my computer, using Logic and an AKG 414 microphone, no additional instruments, no tuning, no comping.

a portion of proceeds from the sale of this demo album will be donated to Marquita Bradshaw's senate campaign - Marquita is an activist and progressive candidate running a fully grassroots, no corporate pac money campaign who centers environmental justice and healthcare in her policy. She is the only black woman candidate for Senate in the country today and she would be the first black woman senator for Tennessee.
